Police investigate Windsor sexual assault

Detectives from Bayside Sexual Offences & Child Abuse Investigation Team are appealing for public assistance following the sexual assault of a teenage girl in Windsor in 2019.

Investigators have been told the victim and a number of friends attended a business on Chapel Street about 11pm on 19 July.

During the course of the evening the 16-year-old victim was sexually assaulted by an unknown man.

Detectives have made extensive enquiries during their investigation and are hoping to identify three men who they believe may have witnessed the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Investigators would like to stress that the men are potential witnesses only and are not believed to be involved in the offence.

CCTV images of the men have been released in the hope that they can be identified or come forward to police.

The first witness is perceived to be of Middle Eastern appearance, 20-30 years old, with an average height, a solid build and dark hair with a swept back undercut-style haircut and a dark beard.

He was wearing a hooded top, t-shirt with a large chain and dark pants.

The second witness is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, 30-40 years old, tall with an average build, and short dark hair.

He was wearing a suit jacket, collared shirt and dark pants.

The third witness is perceived to be of Asian appearance, 30-40 years old, with an average height and thin build.

He was wearing a collared shirt with a tie, a dark V-neck jumper and a coat with dark pants.
