Police are investigating a deliberately lit fire in a shipping container on Archer Street in Rocherlea around 5.50pm last night.
The fire destroyed the shipping container and contents including a motor vehicle, motorcycle and household furniture items.
Fire Service Investigators have determined the fire was deliberately lit.
Anyone with information in relation to the fire or suspicious activity in the area around the time is asked to contact Launceston CIB on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.
