Police Responding To Fatal Motorcycle Crash At Warialda

A rider has died in a motorcycle crash in the state's North West Slopes region.

About 4.50pm yesterday (Friday 22 May 2026), emergency services were called to the Warialda Road, Warialda, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to New England Police District attended and found a motorcycle had left the road and crashed.

The rider - a woman believed to be aged in her 40s - died at the scene. She is yet to be formally identified.

Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
