Police are investigating the unlawful wounding of a man at Coomera this morning.
Around 8.15am, police were called to a home on Flowers Drive after a fight between two men who were known to each other escalated.
A 30-year-old Coomera man received multiple stab-wounds to his left arm and chest.
Paramedics transported him to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A 23-year-old Coomera man fled the scene on foot.
A nearby school was temporarily placed into lockdown as a precaution but reopened around 9.30am.
Police continue patrols for the man and investigations continue
