Police investigating wounding at Holmview

Police are investigating after a man received a gun-shot wound to his lower back at Holmview this morning.

Around 5.40am, a 29-year-old man attended a service station at the corner of Logan River Road and Gardner Road on his bicycle and reported that he had been shot.

The 29-year-old received a non-life-threatening single gunshot wound to his lower back and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

Investigations continue.
