Police lay charges over unlawful entry in Darwin

Northern Territory Police have charged a 22-year-old male with property offences following unlawful entries at a commercial premises in Darwin overnight.

The man allegedly broke into the premises, setting off an alarm, around midnight. He took a quantity of alcohol, stashed it outside, and then returned to the property where he was then apprehended by police.

He has been charged with:

  • 2 x Unlawful entry - building
  • Damage to property
  • Stealing

He was remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Local Court on 17 January 2020.
