Police make arrest after Bentley incident

Cannington Detectives with the assistance of Cannington Police have charged a 16-year-old youth after an incident on a bus yesterday, 16 October 2019.

About 4.20pm, the 16-year-old boy and the 20-year-old male victim were was travelling on a bus that was travelling along Lawson Street in Bentley when it is alleged the two were involved in a struggle over the victim's personal items.

It is further alleged during the struggle the youth produced a knife and the victim received a laceration to his neck and the 16-year-old received a cut to his leg.

The 16-year-old boy from Balcatta has been charged with Armed Robbery and is due to appear before the Perth Children's Court on 29 October 2019.
