Police make arrest after Geelong police car rammings

Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man in relation to a number of police car rammings in Geelong on 10 March.

It is alleged three police cars were rammed after attempting to intercept a stolen car.

No police were injured as a result of the collisions.

A 20-year-old was arrested in Newcomb today and has been charged with 27 offences including aggravated reckless exposure of police officer to risk by driving, theft of motor vehicle and drive at a speed dangerous.

He has been remanded to appear in Geelong Magistrates' Court tomorrow (17 March).
