Police make arrest after Glen Huntly armed robbery

Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a teenager in relation to an armed robbery in Glen Huntly earlier this week.

A 14-year-old boy was confronted by unknown offenders in a Volkswagen Tiguan about 3.35pm on Monday.

It alleged the teenager was forced into the vehicle which has then driven off along Neerim Road.

A short time later the victim has come out of the moving vehicle, in unknown circumstances, near the intersection of Grange Road and sustained significant injuries.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

The 14-year-old Frankston South boy was arrested in Frankston this afternoon and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

Investigators continue to search for others believed to have been involved in the incident.

Police are investigating if the matter is linked to other incidents in the area.
