Police make arrest over puppy theft

A man has been charged after seven puppies were stolen from Morphett Vale last week.

Sometime overnight between 4pm Wednesday 13 and 5pm Thursday 14 April a home on Lyle Street was broken into and seven PitbullX puppies stolen. Southern police and Crime Scene Investigators attended the scene and an investigation was launched.

Following an investigation, just after midnight Saturday 16 April a home at Christies Beach was searched, and two of the litter was located safe and well.

A 37-year-old man from the address was arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass and theft. He was bailed to appear at the Christies beach Magistrates Court on 23 May.
