Police make arrest over unlawful entry in Alice Springs 31 August

Northern Territory Police have charged a man for an unlawful entry of a home in Alice Springs at the weekend.

Police responded to a report of an intruder inside a home in The Gap area just after 9:30pm on Saturday.

It is alleged the 22-year-old man gained entry into property while the female occupant was still at home.

Multiple units responded and successfully apprehended the man, who was later charged with one count of unlawful entry and remanded in custody to appear before the Alice Springs Local Court today.
