Police make arrest over unlawful entry - Stuart Park

Northern Territory Police have arrested a 34-year-old woman following an alleged unlawful entry that occurred in Stuart Park on Saturday 22 August 2020.

At around 8:20pm, two people entered an occupied residence. The occupants heard a noise and approached the front door when an unknown male approached them. He stated he was visiting one of the occupants before fleeing the scene.

The occupants then located the woman allegedly stealing items inside the residence. She attempted to escape by climbing down a drain pipe before assaulting nearby residents who tried to stop her.

Police arrived on scene and arrested the woman. She was conveyed to Palmerston Watch House and charged with;

  • robbery
  • criminal damage
  • unlawful entry of an occupied dwelling
  • possess schedule 1 dangerous drug
  • trespass on enclosed premises.

Strike Force Trident detectives are continuing their investigations to identify the unknown male.
