Police make arrest - Robbery - Malak

Northern Territory Police have arrested four youths in relation to an alleged incident of robbery that occurred last week.

On Wednesday 1 July 2020, a group of male youths entered a retail premises while being allegedly armed. They threatened staff before stealing several bottles of spirits and fleeing the location.

The youths were apprehended by Serious Crime Squad and StrikeForce Trident members across various locations in Darwin and Palmerston yesterday.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Jak Evans said, "NT Police have been able to apprehend the youths and we thank the public for assistance with identifying them".

Four male youths, aged between 13 and 16, were arrested and charged with robbery and are due to face court at a later date.
