A man will appear before court on sexual assault charges following an incident in Tennant Creek earlier this week.
The 18-year-old man is alleged to have physically and sexually assaulted a woman on Paterson Street on Tuesday night.
Investigations by members of the Tennant Creek Investigations Unit resulted in the swift arrest of the man yesterday afternoon.
The offender was taken to the Tennant Creek Watch House where he is expected to be charged with one count of Aggravated assault and one count of Sexual intercourse without consent.
