Police make arrests for money laundering

A man and woman will face court after drugs and cannabis were allegedly located in Ridleyton.

On Saturday 13 March, detectives had cause to search a Monmouth Street home and located over $45,000 cash and 24kgs of cannabis.

A 24-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman both from Ridleyton were arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and money laundering.

The man was refused bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

The woman was bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 20 April.
