Police make arrests - Strike Force Viper in Alice Springs 19 January

Northern Territory Police have arrested four youths, aged between 14 and 16, in relation to a number of property offences in Alice Springs.

It is alleged that the offending occurred over a substantial period of time.

Strike Force Viper members attended a residence yesterday and apprehended three of the four offenders for serious breaches of bail and outstanding warrants. The fourth offender was apprehended following a foot pursuit through the Todd Mall.

All four youths have been charged with multiple property offences and will appear before court today.

Senior Sergeant Rob Kent said "Strike Force Viper continue to apprehend recidivist offenders in an attempt to reduce criminal activity within the community.

"Police continue to investigate offences long after they have been committed and extensive efforts go into linking offences to recidivists."
