A 41-year-old male senior constable from the Kimberley district was charged following an investigation into reported family violence incidents.
It will be alleged the incidents occurred between August-September 2013 and 29 November 2022.
The man has been charged with:
• 5 x Common Assault in Circumstances of Aggravation
• 5 x Breach of Violence Restraining Order
• Persistently Engaged in Family Violence
The officer was stood down from duty and is due to appear in the Kununurra Magistrates Court on 10 February 2023.
