Police probe after two-vehicle crash in Auburn

Three people have been taken to hospital in stable conditions following a crash in Auburn, NSW Police say.

About 6.10pm (Sunday 11 November 2018), emergency services were called to the intersection of Rickard and Carnegie Streets, Auburn, after reports a Hyundai and Toyota Corolla collided.

The female driver of the Hyundai, and her female passenger were trapped for a short time, before being released and treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

They were both taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 17-year-old male driver of the Toyota was taken to Westmead Hospital with minor injuries.

Both drivers will undergo mandatory testing at hospital.

Officers from Auburn Police Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Anyone with information or that witnessed the crash is urged to come forward.
