Police are appealing to the public for information after the death of a woman on the Central Coast.
About 3.45pm on Sunday 23 March 2025, officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District were told a 19-year-old woman was last seen on The Entrance Road, Erina.
When she could not be located, detectives commenced an investigation into her whereabouts.
About 35pm that day, police located the woman's body in the water near The Entrance Road, Erina.
The death is not being dealt with as suspicious, and a report was prepared for the information of the Coroner.
To assist the Coronial matter, police have released images of a man who were seen in the area at the time and who may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is described as having a dark complexion, medium build and wearing a reg singlet, grey shorts, white runners, a white cap and carrying a black backpack.
Brisbane Water Crime Manager, Detective Acting Inspector Samantha Richards, said police would like to hear any information the public might be able to provide.
"We are not implicating this man was somehow involved in the incident, we have no indication of that", Det Acting Inspector Richards said.
"We're simply hoping he might have some information to help us piece together what has happened."
