Police renew appeal to locate missing elderly man at Rockdale

Police are re-appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Rockdale.

Peter Bradbury – aged 87 – was reported missing when he failed to return to an aged care facility on Frederick Street, Rockdale, after leaving about 1pm on Tuesday 21 December 2021.

Officers attached to St George Police Area Command commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.

Following inquiries, it is believed Peter visited a Bondi shopping centre, leaving via the Bronte Road exit in the direction of Spring Street, Bondi Junction, about 9.10pm on the same night.

Police hold serious concerns for Peter's welfare due to his age, and as he suffers from a number of medical conditions which require medication.

Peter is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 178cm tall, of thin build, with short grey hair, a grey beard, and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black, grey, white and red zip-up jacket, black dress pants and shiny black shoes.

He was seen carrying a green recyclable 'Woolworths' bag.

Anyone who has information about Peter's whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
