Police are currently at the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash in Charlemont.
It is believed a motorcycle was travelling west along Boundary Road when the rider lost control and crashed at the roundabout on Horseshoe Bend Road about 10.20am.
Two people were on the motorcycle at the time of the crash.
A man who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
A female has been airlifted to hospital in a critical condition.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage.
