Police responding to fatal motorcycle crash at Riverina

A man has died following a motorcycle crash in the state's Riverina region.

About 6pm (Saturday 28 January 2023), emergency services were called to Canola Way at Old Junee after reports a motorcyclist had left the roadway and crashed.

The rider – a 50-year-old man – was treated by witnesses, however he died at the scene.

Officers from Riverina Police District attended and established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic police.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
