A man has died following a fatal single-vehicle crash in the state's Central West.
Police believe between 9.30pm on Sunday 24 March and 5.30am on Monday 25 March, a man was driving along Lansdale Road, Tottenham, about 88km south of Nyngan, when his Toyota Landcruiser utility left the roadway and hit a tree.
The man, aged 53, died at the scene.
Emergency services were called about 5.30am on Monday 25 March 2019, when the vehicle was discovered by a passer-by.
Officers from Central West Police District established a crime scene and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
