Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Riverhills

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a man died in a two-vehicle crash at Riverhills earlier this evening.

Initial investigations indicate at 5.30pm, a Honda motorcycle and a Nissan Navara collided at the intersection of Sumners Road and Wacol Station Road.

The motorcyclist, a 28-year-old Karalee man, died at the scene.

The 48-year-old driver and his 13-year-old passenger of the dual cab were not physically injured during the crash.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen the motorbike or vehicle prior to the crash to speak to police.

Additionally, anyone who may have stopped at the traffic lights at the intersection and may have witnessed the incident, is asked to contact police.

Anyone with dash cam vision or further information is also urged to make contact.
