Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Toowoomba 6 June

A motorcyclist has died following a two-vehicle crash in Toowoomba today (June 6).

Preliminary information suggests just after 5pm the rider was traveling east on Bridge Street in Newtown when a Holden utility turned into their path from Gladstone Street.

A 30-year-old Withcott man was taken to Toowoomba Hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.

The 26-year-old man from the utility was uninjured and the motorbike was extensively damaged.

Anyone with dashcam or further information regarding incident is urged to contact police.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
