Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Chandler

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for public assistance after fatal traffic crash at Chandler claimed the life of a man today.

Just before 2pm initial investigations indicate a black Honda motorcycle was travelling on Old Cleveland Road when it crashed into a Mazda 3.

The rider, a 31-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A 27-year-old woman who was a pillion passenger on the motorcycle was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The car's driver, a 72-year-old woman was also taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who may have dash cam footage of the incident is urged to contact police.
