An 18-year-old man has died in a collision between a motorbike and truck in Giru this afternoon.
At 3pm, a motorbike and a truck collided on the Bruce Highway at Palm Creek Bridge.
The motorbike rider was declared deceased at the scene.
The truck driver was not physically injured during the incident.
Diversions are in place with the highway expected to be closed for some time.
Investigations are underway by the Forensic Crash Unit. Anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have dashcam footage is encouraged to contact police.
