Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Mt Hallen

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Mt Hallen, earlier this morning, May 19.

At approximately 5am, a white Mazda B2600 utility was travelling north along Gatton Esk Road near Edinburgh Drive when it left the road and struck a tree.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 54-year-old Toogoolawah man, died at the scene.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations remain ongoing to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash.

Police are appealing for anyone who was travelling between Edinburgh Drive and the township of Esk between 4:30am and 5am on May 19 to contact police.
