Police responding to serious traffic crash at Hervey Bay

Police are investigating a serious single-vehicle traffic crash in Hervey Bay this morning.

Initial investigations indicate a vehicle was travelling along Elizabeth Street through Urangan around 1.50am when it struck a concrete wall.

All three occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries.

The driver and a passenger, a 19-year-old Kawungan man and 22-year-old Urangan woman, have been airlifted to Brisbane in a critical condition.

The third person, a 26-year-old Urangan man, was transported to Hervey Bay hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
