Police Responding To Serious Traffic Crash At Belmont

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious traffic crash in Belmont yesterday, 16 July.

Police were called to the intersection of Old Cleveland Road and Mount Petrie Road around 1.58pm, following reports of a collision between a Harley Davidson motorbike and a Ford Ranger.

The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 60s, was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Ranger, a man in his 50s, was not physically injured.

Police are appealing to anyone with information or relevant vision to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
