Police responding to serious traffic crash at Brassall

Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic crash in Brassall yesterday afternoon.

At 4.10pm a utility was turning right from Burke Street into Fernvale Road when it has been struck by a motorcycle travelling west on Fernvale Road.

The rider, a 48-year-old Brassall man, has been transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the utility was not physically injured during the incident.

Investigations are continuing.
