Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing woman Katina.
The 79-year-old was last seen at her Wantirna home about 2.20pm today.
She was last seen wearing a dark navy coat and black reading glasses.
Police and family hold concerns for Katina as she has dementia and can become disorientated.
An image of Katina has been released in the hope someone can provide information about her whereabouts.
She is described as being 160cm tall with a thin build, light brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees Katina is urged to call Knox Police Station on 9881 7000.
