Police Seek Assistance for Historical Robbery

Serious and Organised Crime Branch investigators have released a new image of the man responsible for a robbery on the Cove Tavern in 2014.

At about 10pm on Monday, 18 August, 2014, a man entered the Cove Tavern at Ramrod Avenue, Hallett Cove, where he produced a double barrel shotgun and demanded money from gaming room staff.

The man is believed to have left the scene in a Holden Commodore sedan with an amount of cash. No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as approx. 195cm tall, stocky build with a slight pot belly, wearing a long sleeved jumper with stripes down the arms and over the top a red/orange Everlast t-shirt worn inside out, black tracksuit pants with stripes down the leg, gloves and had his head and face covered.

Investigators have now released a new image of the man responsible for this robbery and are asking for public assistance to identify him.
