Police seek assistance to locate wanted man - Eastern Beaches

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a man on parole, who removed his electronic tracking device.

Damien Peters, aged 50, was last seen about 4.15pm at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick.

Police were immediately informed and a search for the man commenced.

About 8.30pm police located the monitoring anklet in Kensington, which had been forcibly removed.

Mr Peters is described as being Caucasian appearance, about 175 to 185cm tall, a muscular build with short brown hair. He has a tattoo on his right upper arm of a snake wrapped around a panther and tribal style tattoos on his upper left upper arm.

Anyone who has information about the whereabouts of Mr Peters is urged not to approach the man and to contact Eastern Beaches Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
