Police Seek Help in Maroochydore Dangerous Driving Probe

Police have released vision in an appeal for witnesses following the arrest of a man in relation to a separate alleged drink driving offence in Maroochydore on Sunday, March 19.

At approximately 4.30am, police located a yellow Ford Falcon at a service station along Maroochydore Road.

The alleged driver, a 24-year-old Moodlu man, allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.159 and was charged with one count of drink driving.

He is expected to appear before Maroochydore Magistrates Court on April 17.

Investigations are continuing into the vehicle's movements leading up to its arrival at the service station.

Police believe the vehicle may be linked to several reports of dangerous driving in the vicinity of Maroochydore Road.

Police have released vision of a similar vehicle travelling on the wrong side of the road between Blanck Street and Evans Street between 4.00am and 4.30am that same morning (March 19).
