Police seek help to find missing boy at Springfield

Police are seeking urgent public assistance to locate a 17-year-old boy missing from Springfield since Thursday, May 25.

The boy was last seen at a Highridge Road address at approximately 9am, and has not been seen or heard from since.

Police and family have serious concerns for his welfare as his behaviour is out of character.

His is described as having a dark complexion, approximately 165cm tall with a slim build, short black hair and brown eyes.

While his whereabouts is unknown, police believe he could be travelling by public transport in the Inala, Richlands, Ipswich or Gold Coast areas.

Police are appealing to the boy or anyone with information to come forward.
