Police are asking for public assistance to locate a missing 15-year-old Eagleby girl.

The girl (pictured) went missing from a Herses Road address around 5pm yesterday and has not been heard from since.

Police hold serious concerns for the girl's welfare due to her age.

She is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, approximately 165cm tall, slim build with brown hair and brown eyes.

She left on foot and was last seen wearing a maroon school uniform, without a backpack. She may be using public transport.
