Police seek help to find missing man at Alice River

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 49-year-old man reported missing from the Townsville area earlier this week.

Jeffrey Kiely was last seen at 5.00 am on Wednesday (August 17) at Alice River and has not made contact with friends or family since 7.30pm on Thursday (August 18).

Police and family hold concern for the Jeffrey's welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 191 centimetres tall, with sandy brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing an orange high vis shirt and navy pants.

Anyone with information regarding his current whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
