Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Saint Albans Park teenager Kiara Barrett.
The 15-year-old was last seen leaving school on the Bellarine Highway, Newcombe yesterday afternoon.
Police and family have concerns for Kiara's welfare due to her age.
An image of Kiara has been released in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information about her whereabouts.
Kiara is described as approximately 160cm tall with a slim build.
Anyone who sees Kiara or has information about her whereabouts is urged to contact Geelong Police Station on 5225 3100.
