Police seek help to find missing woman at Churchable

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 46-year-old Bangladeshi woman missing from Churchable in the Lockyer Valley yesterday, July 26.

Piara Begum was last seen at approximately 5pm at a Gatton-Esk Road property, and has not been seen or heard from since.

Police and family have serious concerns for her welfare as she does not speak English, and her disappearance is out of character.

Piara is described as tanned in appearance, 160cm tall with a proportionate build, and dark hair and eyes.

Residents within Churchable and the surrounding areas are urged to check their backyards, garden sheds and properties for any signs of Piara .

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to immediately contact police.
