Police seek help to locate missing Mooroolbark man Michael Whelan

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate missing Mooroolbark man Michael Whelan.

The 76-year-old left his Monomeith Street home at 5.45pm on Saturday 7 November driving his gold 2012 Toyota Corolla registered ZJT 665.

Michael had washed his car and was intending to drive it around the block but failed to return home.

Police and family are concerned about Michael as his disappearance is out of character.

When last seen Michael was wearing a green windcheater, black jeans and black dress shoes.

Investigators have released an image of Michael and a similar type vehicle in the hope someone recognises him or the car and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.

Anyone with information about Michael is asked to contact Lilydale Police Station on 9739 2300.
