Police seek info after armed robbery in Narromine

Police are appealing for public assistance after an armed robbery in Narromine, near Dubbo, NSW Police say.

About 6.30pm Tuesday 18 July 2018 two men armed with a metal object entered a bottle shop on Dandaloo Street.

The two men demanded a 25-year-old female employee hand over the money from the register.

The men stole cash and the woman’s handbag before leaving the store.

Police were notified and detectives from Orana Mid Western Police District commenced investigations.

The first man is described as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 175cm tall, muscular build, wearing a black cap, green camouflage jacket, grey t-shirt, black pants, black sneakers with a white trim, a black scarf around his neck and face and white gloves on his hands.

The second man is described as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 40-50 years old, 180-185cm tall, unshaven, wearing a dark jacket, hooded black jumper underneath, black Everlast brand pants, and grey shoes.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
