Latrobe Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public information following a firearm theft in Morwell in early October.
The theft occurred at a transport yard on Swan Road on 2 or 3 October.
Multiple firearms that were being stored at the premises ready for transport were stolen.
Police believe the theft is a targeted incident.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who has dash cam footage from Swan Road on those dates or any information which could assist police with their enquiries to come forward.
The joint investigation with the Illicit Firearms Squad remains ongoing.
