Police seek information after Firle robbery

A woman was robbed at a Firle bus stop this morning and police are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage.

About 9.30am on Tuesday 17 October, a woman was on Marian Road at Firle waiting at bus stop 15, when a man armed with a small axe approached her.

The man pulled on the victim's handbag and shopping bag containing groceries and a laptop and took them from her arm. He then demanded the woman's phone which she did not hand over. The man left the area on foot last seen running south on Morris Street at Glynde.

The suspect is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged between 20-30 years, 175cm in height, with a slim build and light coloured hair. He was wearing a black and white hooded jumper over his head, a scarf covering his face and he was carrying a 'Coles' shopping bag.
