Police seek information after local sports club facilities damaged - Monterey

Police are appealing for public assistance after a sporting club's facilities were damaged in Sydney's south.

About 5.15pm on Sunday (27 June 2021), police were called to Scarborough Park, Monterey, following reports two unknown people were using poles to damage the outside of a building.

During the incident, windows, lights, roofing, sporting equipment and toilets – that are also used by the local community – were significantly damaged.

Upon arrival, officers from St George Police Area Command commenced a search of the surrounding area, however the pair were not located.

They were last seen wearing black tracksuits and fled the scene on black pushbikes.
