Police seek information after pursuit of stolen vehicle at Narromine

Police are appealing for information following a pursuit involving a stolen vehicle in the state's Orana Mid Western Region overnight.

About 5pm yesterday (Sunday 17 January 2021), officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District were patrolling the greater Narromine area following reports a stolen black Audi station wagon was being driven in the township.

Officers located the vehicle on Dandaloo Street and initiated a pursuit which was terminated a short time later due to the dangerous manner of driving.

Police will allege the vehicle reached speeds of up to 150km/h in a 100km/h sign posted zone along Warren Road.

About 8pm, police located the Audi abandoned in Peak Hill.

Investigations continue.
