Police seek information after shots fired into house - Regents Park

Police are appealing for the public's assistance after shots were fired into a house in Regents Park overnight.

About 9.30pm yesterday (Saturday 19 June 2021), police were called to a house in Nottinghill Road after reports of a public place shooting.

Officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command attended, locating multiple bullet holes in the house and a vehicle parked on the front lawn.

Police were told the shots were fired from a white hatchback.

The four occupants in the house at the time, including a two-year-old boy, were not injured in the incident.

A crime scene was established, which has been examined by specialist forensic police.

A short time later, a burnt-out vehicle was found in nearby Smith Street, which has been seized for forensic examination.

Police are urging anyone with information – including dashcam footage from the area at the time of the shooting – to contact Auburn Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
