Police seek information: Armed robbery at Douglas

Detectives investigating the armed robbery of a business in Douglas last night have released a CCTV still of a male who may be able to assist with investigations.

Initial inquiries indicate around 7.10pm two males entered a Riverside Boulevard bottle shop, with one producing a machete and demanding money from a female employee who complied and was not physically injured.

The pair fled the scene on foot, joining a larger group waiting nearby.

Both first nations males are around 165cm tall with slim builds.

One was wearing a dark coloured t-shirt with coloured 'DragonballZ' lettering across the chest, along with a navy wide-brim hat, blue surgical mask and black gloves.

The other male was wearing white coloured tracksuit pants.

Investigators appeal for anyone with information to come forward, anonymous reports can be made.
