Police seek information: Assault at Landsborough

Sunshine Coast detectives are investigating the serious assault of a man following an incident at a Sunshine Coast residence overnight.

Around 4.30pm on March 11, paramedics were called to a Caloundra Street home in Landsborough to assist a man with critical head injuries.

The victim, a 31-year-old Morayfield man, was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital where it was alleged that his injuries had been sustained under suspicious circumstances.

The man was airlifted to Brisbane where he remains in a critical condition for further treatment.

At 9.20pm, a crime scene was declared at the Caloundra Street residence.

Police believe Christopher Adcock (pictured), 38-years-old, may be able to assist with their inquiries regarding this investigation.

Police allege the two men are known to each other.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, 180cm tall with brown eyes and dark brown hair. He is believed to be travelling in a white Toyota Camry sedan (pictured).

The public are advised not to approach him.

Police are appealing for Christopher, anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, or those with relevant CCTV or dash cam vision from the area on March 11 to come forward.
