Police seek information: Assault at Maroochydore

Police have released images of two men that may be able to assist with investigations into an assault at Maroochydore in February.

Around 2.15am on February 4, a 23-year-old Teneriffe man accompanied by a 30-year-old Mooloolaba man and 25-year-old Mooloolaba man, were walking along Ocean Street near the intersection of Horton Parade.

The three men were approached by a group of unknown men and assaulted.

The 23-year-old man fell to the ground and lost consciousness.

He sustained lacerations and bruising and was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

The other two men with him also were assaulted and sustained minor injuries.

The attackers fled the scene on foot towards Horton Parade.

Anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage, or may have witnessed the incident, is asked to contact police.
